Average cost of fixed-line broadband packages in Africa 2020, by country
As of 2020, the average cost of fixed broadband packages in Africa was highest in Eritrea, which reached approximately 2,666 U.S. dollars. This was more than three times the monthly price in Mauritania, which was the African country with the second most expensive cost per package. Eswatini and Egypt were the countries in the region with a fixed-line broadband price of less than 20 euros for one package. Overall, six out of the ten countries with the highest fixed broadband package prices are in Sub-Saharan Africa.
