In December 2022, Colombian holiday shoppers spent a total of 32.8 billion Colombian pesos on Christmas products and services. These included Christmas presents, Christmas dinner, alcohol, decorations, and vacations. The total spending during the 2022 holiday season increased by nine percent compared to the previous year, where the sales value amounted to 30 billion Colombian pesos.
