Number of members of the House of Councillors Japan 2022, by party and gender
As of November 2022, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in Japan had 23 female diet members of the House of Councillors, accounting for around 24 percent of LDP diet members. In the examined period, female members made up roughly 26 percent of all the incumbent members of the house. The House of Councillors is the upper house of the Japanese parliament.
