Value of merchandise imports in Africa 2020, by region
As of 2020, Northern Africa was the region with the highest value of merchandise imports in the whole continent, reaching roughly 180.6 billion U.S. dollars. By contrast, Central Africa imported approximately 31 billion U.S. dollars in goods. Merchandise imports in Africa amounted to 509.8 billion U.S. dollars in the same period.
