In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the retail, wholesale trade, consumer goods, accommodation, and food services industries were expected to gain the most from Artificial Intelligence (AI), at around 19 percent of the region's GDP in 2030. The MENA region was forecasted to accrue 2 percent of the total global benefits of AI, which was valued at 320 billion U.S. dollars by the same year.
