Philippines: COVID-19 safety measures 2020

In a survey conducted in 2020 in the Philippines, regarding preventing the spread of COVID-19, 79 percent of respondents stated that they always wore a face mask when leaving the house. Comparatively, 56 percent of respondents stated that they always wore a face shield on public transportation and in public establishments in the Philippines in 2020.

The Social Weather Stations' national mobile phone survey was a probability-based survey conducted using mobile phone and computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) of 1,249 adult Filipinos (18 years old and above) nationwide: 309 in Metro Manila, 328 in Balance Luzon, 300 in the Visayas, and 312 in Mindanao.
