According to a survey conducted in September 2020, about 83.6 percent of Indonesian respondents got their information about COVID-19 and the safety measures through social media. As of October 13, 2020, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia amounted to 336,716 and the number had been increasing since Indonesia had its first COVID-19 case in March 2020.
