
Food exports from Africa, by destination 2019
As of 2019, food exports from Africa amounted to roughly 61.4 billion U.S. dollars. The largest part (around 32.5 billion U.S. dollars) had as destination developing economies in the continent itself, and also in America, and Asia and Oceania. Slightly over 27 billion U.S. dollars were generated by food exports to developed economies, while 1.7 billion U.S. dollars came from transition economies.
