Regions with the highest unemployment rate in Russia 2020
The Republic of Ingushetia had the highest unemployment rate in Russia between in 2020. In that period, nearly 30 percent of the region's economically active population were unemployed. The average rate of unemployment across the country decreased by 0.1 percent between December 2020 and January 2021. It continued to decline continuously, reaching 5.7 percent in February 2021.
