Biotech firms in the health sector affected by COVID-19 lockdown in Italy 2020
According to a survey conducted in May 2020 in Italy, approximately 60 percent of biotech companies operating in the health and pharmaceutical sector in the country was not affected by the lockdown implemented by the government in their manufacturing activity. This means that they could work at full capacity despite the generalized lockdown, but implementing new processes for the safety of their employees.
