Households' reasons for saving in Italy 2019

Almost half of the respondents to a survey conducted in 2019 in Italy declared that the main motivation for them to save was the uncertainty regarding the future. Moreover, 26 percent of the respondents saved money mainly to accumulate resources for future personal projects. On the other hand, only two percent of them saved in order to start their own business in the future.
