
Revised political ad spend due to COVID-19 in the U.S. 2020
The impact of the coronavirus pandemic is also reflected in the findings of a study from 2020 on the political advertising spending in the United States. While the study estimated six billion U.S. dollars in spending on political advertising for 2020 back in March, it was later revised to a projected spend of 6.7 billion U.S. dollars due to the higher primary investments caused by lack of live event campaigning during the pandemic.
