Japan: willingness to pay extra for 5G video conferencing by age

According to a survey conducted in Japan in 2019, seven percent of the respondents aged 25 to 34 years old would be willing to pay extra for video conferencing at a remote workplace provided by 5G networks. The establishment of 5G networks is considered a high priority for the country's plans of a smart society. Therefore, Japanese mobile carriers like NTT Docomo, SoftBank and Rakuten Mobile worked on building out their 5G networks.
