Presidential election results in Moldova 2020
Maia Sandu from the party Action and Solidarity won the presidential election in Moldova in the second round held on November 15, 2020. A former prime minister of the country known for her pro-EU stance, she received roughly 58 percent of the votes, while her opponent, the incumbent president Igor Dodon lost the election with over 42 percent after 100 percent of the voting ballots were counted.
