In a survey conducted in 2020 in the Philippines, regarding preventing the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), 64 percent of respondents in both Mindanao and Visayas considered that the actions of private businesses and companies in preventing the spread of COVID-19 among their employees and customers were adequate. In contrast, four and six percent of respondents in Balance Luzon and Visayas respectively considered that the actions of private sectors in preventing the spread of COVID-19 were very inadequate in the Philippines in 2020.
