Number of cigarettes smoked on average per day in Tanzania 2018
Tanzanian smokers consumed an average of 8.5 cigarettes per day in 2018. Roughly 42 percent of daily smokers smoked less than five cigarettes, while 27.2 percent consumed between five and nine cigarettes. According to the survey, smokers in Tanzania were more than two million by the same year.
