While most parents (71.78 percent) reported that they did not spontaneously think about it, although they were not opposed to it, approximatively 18 percent of them explained it by the fact that boys' tastes did not lend themselves to it. In 2019, almost ten percent of parents in France did not want their son to play with toys intended to be for girls.
