Distribution of data complaints in Sweden 2021, by type
In 2021, most data complaints received by the Swedish authority for privacy protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, were GDPR-related, 77 percent. Camera surveillance was the reason for 11 percent of the complaints, whereas one percent were related to the Criminal Data Act.
