
Latin America: perceptions on internet speed in universities 2020
As governments imposed limitations in presencial learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of internet in educational institutions has become essential. Nevertheless, according to a survey carried out in Latin America in 2020, close to 40 percent of surveyed professors stated that their universities had either an internet speed that was below average, or no internet at all. In contrast, for 15 percent of professors surveyed, the speed of internet in their institutions was above average.
