Finland: reasons to download the covid app 2020

According to a survey conducted in September 2020, 31 percent of Finns said that they had downloaded the coronavirus app (Koronavilkku) because of social pressure or civic responsibility to do so. Nearly as many respondents (28 percent) had downloaded the mobile application to follow the National Health Agency's recommendation in Finland. Other reasons to download the "Koronavilkku" app included health concerns, prevention of the spread of the coronavirus, and being worried about other people getting infected.
