In 2019, the annual earnings of male workers in the United States was higher than female workers with the same level of education. Male workers without a high school graduate level of education made approximately 30,725 U.S. dollars in 2019, compared to 20,046 U.S. dollars for female workers with the same level of education. The highest paid were those with a graduate or professional degree.
