According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2020, approximately 50 percent of Indonesian respondents between 16 to 24 years old stated that they did not use mobile dating apps as they found it too superficial. The same survey found that about 70 percent of Indonesian respondents did not use mobile dating apps.
