Number of active mobile money agents in Ghana 2012-2019
As of the first half of 2019, there were over 180 thousand active mobile money agents in Ghana, around four percent more than in the same period of 2018. Also, there was a significant and progressive growth of active agents from 5,900 in 2012 to 180,664 in 2018. Moreover, in the first half of 2019, there were 31.54 million registered mobile money accounts in Ghana.
