According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2020 in the Philippines, 83 percent of the Filipino respondents aged 55 years and older stated that they had not used mobile dating apps. The same survey also revealed that the main reasons they had not used mobile dating apps were because they found the dating apps unromantic and preferred to meet someone organically.
