There were 674 aircraft in India with the scheduled Indian operators in fiscal year 2022. There was a continuous increase in the number of aircraft registered in India until 2020, mostly due to the impact on aviation industry from the coronavirus pandemic. Most aircrafts registered were made by Boeing or Airbus.
