Energy generation outlook in France 2050, by source
Nuclear power is expected to remain France's most important source of energy generation. In 2050, nuclear power plants are expected to add 181.6 terawatt hours to the country's power grid. This was closely followed by the contribution of onshore wind farms, which would generate 152.6 terawatt hours in electricity and have an installed capacity of 66.5 gigawatts.
