The graph shows the share of companies with market innovations in all companies in the postal, courier and express services sector in Germany from 2008 to 2021. According to the source, companies with market innovations are defined as being the first to introduce at least one new or noticeably improved product on the market relevant for the company during the last three years. The indicator measures the proportion of companies that expand the range of originally new products in an industry. In 2021, less than one percent of all companies in the German postal, courier and express services sector introduced market innovations.
