Main goods exports from Zanzibar 2019-2022
Export of goods from Zanzibar amounted to a value of just over 72 million U.S. dollars in 2021, and is registered at 67.77 million U.S. dollars as of October 2022. It was a huge increase in comparison to 2019, when the goods exports were valued at 14.6 million U.S. dollars. The growth was driven largely by clove, and other exports, mainly souvenirs and spices.
