Russians on wives earning more than husbands 2020

Every 8 out of 10 Russians considered it normal for a woman to earn more money than her husband, according to a survey from September 2020. Compared to July 2013, the share of respondents who held that opinion increased by 23 percent.

The survey characteristics refer to the latest survey conducted in 104 municipalities in 53 federal subjects of Russia. The previous surveys were conducted face-to-face and included 1,500 respondents.
