Governmental spending on tourism in Cuba 2019

Government expenditures on services directly related to tourists in Cuba amounted to more than 242 million U.S. dollars in 2019, the highest figure reported in the decade. In comparison to the previous year, this represents an increase of 2.5 percent. The internal travel and tourism consumption in Cuba, which includes this governmental spending, as well as the revenues generated directly from these activities, surpassed the six billion-dollar mark in recent years.
