While smart devices are more and more popular, the majority of French respondents claimed not to plan on using one in the future. Women seemed more reluctant than men to use connected devices as around 75 percent of female respondents claimed not to be interested in using a connected device specialized in health or household appliances in France in 2019. Security and home automation related devices were the most popular among respondents of both genders.
