Dairy cow numbers in Ireland 2016-2022
Between the years 2014 and 2022, there was a steady increase in the amount of dairy cows within Ireland. In 2017, there was approximately 1.3 million heads of dairy cows, however, this figure jumped to 1.5 million heads in 2022.
