As of December 2020, Mexico City reported approximately 1.8 thousand financial offices operating around the country's capital. Meanwhile, the state of Jalisco registered 1.52 thousand financial branches that year. In 2019, there were 6.6 bank branches per 1,000 square kilometers in the North American country.
