In the second quarter of 2020, the value growth of the non-staples category of e-commerce amounted to 112 percent, compared to its value a year ago in the metro cities in India. Comparatively, the staples category of e-commerce experienced a growth of 43 percent, compared to its value in the previous year. Personal care was the only category to experience a decline.
