Dominican Republic: share of renewables in primary energy supply 2010-2018

In 2018, renewable sources accounted for 30 percent of the primary energy supply in the Dominican Republic. One year earlier, renewables reached the highest contribution of the decade in the Caribbean country – at 30.7 percent – after three consecutive years of increase. The Dominican Republic's primary energy consumption also reached the peak of the decade in 2017.
