In 2020, Labelcom with 4.5 million subscribers was the YouTube channel with highest advertising earnings in the Russian internet (RuNet), with an estimated revenue of 3.55 million U.S. dollars. The second highest income, calculated at 3.4 million U.S. dollars was achieved by Wylsacom, the most popular Russian YouTube channel about gadgets that was created by a blogger Valentin Petukhov in 2011. The channel had nearly 10 million subscribers.

The source specified the following methodology:
Forbes selected 60 channels from a list of 100 bloggers with most subscribers prepared by WhoIsBlogger. After consultations with market players, 10 more bloggers with less subscribers but a high ad placement cost were added.

The study concentrated on bloggers on the Russian and the CIS market, as revenues of bloggers working on international markets are not comparable.

After WhoIsBlogger analyzed the number of ad integrations of 70 selected channels, their incomes were assessed by collecting information about ad placement costs from bloggers themselves and market players. The ranking shows bloggers with the highest income.

Forbes calculated gross income from advertising. It did not consider expenses on content creation. It also did not consider the income from monetization and donations.
