Japan: reasons for cyber risk insurance purchase 2020

In a survey conducted in 2020 among enterprises in Japan, 57.6 percent stated that improving the company's trustworthiness was the leading reason for purchasing cyber risk insurance. About 51.8 percent of the respondents stated that it was impossible to completely prevent cyber incidents as a reason for purchasing cyber risk insurance.
