French buyers considering Made in France as a criteria 2018, by business sectors
In 2019, "Made-in-France" was a criterion for awarding businesses to a majority of people working in purchasing (53 percent). And yet, according to the source, the results vary from one branch of activity to another. In the food industry, catering, leisure (78 percent), fashion and luxury goods (64 percent) sectors, Made-in-France has become an essential factor. On the other hand, in other sectors whose production may be internationalized and located abroad, Made-in-France is not a criterion for awarding the business, like the automotive industry (32 percent).
