In the financial year 2020, the average monthly value sales of deodorants fell drastically to 19 during the lockdown three and four (April to May), compared to their baseline value of 100 during pre-Covid in India. The impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) on consumer purchase of deodorants was clearly visible. The month of June saw a massive recovery in the average monthly value sales to 120.
