Peru: opinions on the COVID-19 effect on entrepreneurship
According to a survey carried out in Peru in August 2020, nearly one third of the interviewed entrepreneurs stated that the COVID-19 pandemic had a positive effect on the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem up until that point. The share of surveyed investors with the same positive perception added up to roughly 30 percent. In the first half of 2020, a total of nine venture capital transactions were closed in Peru.
