In May 2022, alcoholic beverages and tobacco had the highest inflation rate in Tunisia, standing at 24.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. On the other hand, the lowest percentage change in consumer prices was recorded by the communication industry at 2.1 percent. Overall, inflation in the country rose for all sectors.
