Latin America: number of operating rooms 2020, by country
In 2020, Brazil was home to over 27 thousand operating rooms, which was more than any other country in Latin America and the Caribbean. With about 20 thousand less than Brazil, Mexico still had over twice the amount of operating rooms than Colombia that year. Meanwhile, these three countries also had the highest amount of hospitals in the region, with Brazil toping the charts at over 7.4 thousand medical centers.
