The final consumption of natural gas in Africa reached nearly 2.1 million terajoules in 2019, slightly above the projections for the previous year. Overall, the amount of natural gas consumed by end-users in the continent has slowly grown from 1,813 thousand terajoules in 2016 to 2,091 thousand terajoules in 2019.
