Ghana: overall balance of payments 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, Ghana's total balance of payments reached an approximate surplus of 246 million U.S. dollars, an increase compared to the deficit of 1.56 billion U.S. dollars registered in the same period in 2022. Within the studied period, overall transactions carried out between the country and other international regions accumulated the highest value during the first quarter of 2019, at nearly three billion U.S. dollars. The Balance of Payments consider Ghana's current, financial, and capital account balance.
