
Cord cutting among pay TV subscribers in the U.S. 2022, by age
12 percent of the U.S. population was extremely likely to cancel their subscription to pay television services in the next 12 months, according to a survey conducted in October 2022. The majority of respondents who wanted to cancel their subscriptions were between 18 and 34 years. In contrast, over half of individuals over 55 years said they did not plan to cancel their pay TV services in the coming year.
