The average price per square meter of residential rental property in Spain increased for the second year in a row in 2023, after dipping slightly in 2021. In 2023, the average rent for residential real estate amounted to 12.1 euros per square meter. This figure, however, varied across the different regions of the country, with the Balearic Islands and Catalonia recording the highest rents.
