Number of farms delivering cow's milk in France in 2018, by region

Milk is required in many preparations and dishes highly appreciated among French people. One example is cheese: while it can be made from milk from goat, sheep, or cow, it is the latter that is usually most used. The region with the highest number of farms producing and delivering cow milk is Brittany, with over 10.7 thousand farms. Île-de-France, Paris' region, is the one with the least milk farms.
