Reasons for pre-perestroika nostalgia Russia 2020

In 2020, among Russians who believed that the Soviet Union should have remained as it was prior to perestroika, 65 percent stated that was because due to the unity and strength of the country. Other popular reasons for nostalgia were better people-to-people relations and confidence in tomorrow.

The original question was worded by the source as follows: "Почему Вы так думаете?" as a follow-up to "Многие говорят, что было бы лучше, если бы все в стране оставалось так, как было до 1985 года, до "перестройки". Вы с этим согласны или нет?"
