As of December 2022, Ala Moana Center in Hawaii was the biggest luxury shopping mall owned or partly owned by Brookfield Properties in the United States with a gross leasable area (GLA) of 2.27 million square feet. In 2019, this shopping mall was the busiest in the country, reaching over 50 million visitors in that year.
