Copper is present in several household appliances. The average single-family home has approximately 200 kilograms (or 439 pounds) of copper contained in it, the the form of general appliances, electrical wiring, plumbing pipes, and so on.
Building wires alone amount to an average of about 88.5 kilograms per standard single-family home, and an additional 68.5 kilograms on average in plumbing tubes and fittings.
